Global Marine Programme: Partnerships for success
One organization cannot save our planet's oceans and coasts alone. WWF works with many partners to carry out our conservation work and create a greater momentum in conservation efforts.
These include other non-governmental organizations (NGOs), political think-tanks, advocacy groups, business and industry, consumer groups, government and international bodies, international conferences and conventions, aid agencies, scientific institutions, fishers, local communities, indigenous people … anyone and everyone that shares our vision of restoring healthy marine ecosystems. Some of our partners include:
- Local fishermen, communities, NGOs, and MPA management bodies around the world, including in Argentina, Australia, Belize, Colombia, Cook Islands, Croatia, the EU, Fiji, Honduras, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mauritania, Mexico, Mozambique, New Zealand, The Philippines, Senegal, Tanzania, Turkey, and Vietnam
