Jumeirah English Speaking School supports EWS-WWF
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 8th May 2008: Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS) has donated AED 15,000 to EWS-WWF to go towards the HSBC Wadi Wurayah project. The donation will be used to purchase camera traps, which will be installed in Wadi Wurayah, with the hope to capture wildlife in the area, including the endangered Arabian Leopard, and the Endemic Arabian Tahr which exists in UAE and Oman only. » Read more

WWF concerned by dolphin export from Solomon Islands to Dubai
Reports indicate that up to 30 live dolphins have been airlifted from the Solomon Islands to Dubai for use in an aquatic water park. WWF and TRAFFIC express concern for their safety and the process in which they were exported.
